How do I return an order?

  • If you have changed your mind or are for any reason not completely satisfied with your purchase you may return the item for a full refund, exchange or replacement within a period of 30 days (or 7 days for items on Sale) of delivery to you, subject to the conditions stated in T & C’s.
  • If an item is personalised or specifically made to order it cannot be returned or refunded unless it is faulty. However we do encourage you to discuss your concerns with us and we will do our best to assist you as your happiness is very important to us.

Exchanges

Fashion products may be exchanged for a different size/colour if the replacement size/colour is available at the same price as the item that was initially purchased.

You may also exchange your purchased item for another item to the value of the returned item. You will receive a voucher upon approval of your exchange.

If an item is personalised or specifically made to order it cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded unless it is faulty. However we do encourage you to discuss your concerns with us and we will do our best to assist you as your happiness is very important to us.

You could choose a refund if your desired size/colour/item is not available.

Log A Return or Exchange for Change of Mind /Unsatisfied with Item

Incorrect or Damaged/ Defective Item Received

Should you received an order that may have been wrongly described, differs from an item that was presented on our website or is defective, we are so sorry and sincerely apologise for any errors and inconvenience you’ve experienced and endeavour to prioritise your query.
Kindly advise us of any wrong/defective item within a period of no longer than 7 days after receipt of your order.
If the order was wrongly delivered kindly do not open or meddle with the packaging as you may be liable to purchase the item if it has been opened.
For ease of reference, kindly include a photo of the damaged or incorrect item.

Cancellations

Orders that have already been placed cannot be cancelled.

General Cancellations

We will cancel your order within 7 days in the event that we are not able to deliver your order. You refund will take place once we have received the item at our warehouse.
From time to time, we could experience inventory challenges, and should your item or order be cancelled due to unforeseen inventory challenges we will inform you via email and complete a refund. You may also opt for another item.
Kindly refer to the Returns Policy for items that have already been dispatched.
Should you subsequently cancel your card or payment for any reason or if your card becomes invalid you will remain liable for the full cost of purchase price and/or any extra payments due. Should you breach any of the General Terms and Conditions we reserve the right to cancel your purchase and/or your account.

Sample Sale Terms & Conditions

  • Items sold on sample sales have either been worn by our models on editorial shoots and/or in-studio shoots and may not be 100% perfect.
  • However, we have reflected this in our discounted prices.
  • Sample sale items are sold as is.
  • There are unfortunately no refunds.
  • Please allow 5-7 working days for processing and packaging orders.
  • Local Pickups- Diep River -Cape Town: scheduled dates, times and location will be sent via email.

Refund Payments

Payments received via debit or credit card will be refunded directly into the same account and may take up to 5 to 7 days to reflect in your account.
Payments that was received via EFT/ bank deposits (direct deposit/transfer, banking app/online) will be refunded directly into your account. We would need to verify your banking details via email. Refunds will take 3 days to process and may take up to 5 to 7 days to reflect in your account.

When will my parcel arrive?

  • We have partnered with The Courier Guy, who is South Africa’s leading courier service provider.
  • We know you’re excited about your order and will be updating you with a link to track your order as soon as collection has taken place.
  • Standard shipping is R85.
  • We are pleased to offer FREE shipping for items over R899.
  • Products are delivered within the South African Region
  • For international deliveries please whatsapp or direct message on FB or Insta for special arrangements.
  • Standard shipping is between 2-3 working days for main centers, from the day you receive your notice advising you of the shipping (weekends and public holidays are excluded).
  • Kindly note that rural or outlying areas could take up to 5-7 working days to reach you (weekends and public holidays are excluded).

How do I track my order?

  • We know you’re excited about your order and will be updating you with a link to track your order as soon as it’s been despatch.
  • We have partnered with a very reliable third-party service provider to deliver our goods i.e. The Courier Guy, however, should you experience any problems with your delivery or need any assistance please feel free to whatsapp us.
  • However please kindly refer to the FAQ “when will my parcel arrive” to have a view of the estimated delivery times.

How do I redeem my discount code?

Only one discount voucher can be used per order.
No combination discounts are allowed- unless advertised by Avo Cardi

How secure is the Avo Cardi Payment Gateway?

Card transactions will be acquired for Avo Cardi via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.
Payment may be made via Visa and MasterCard.
You may pay for your orders via credit or debit card or EFT (electronic funds transfer) directly into the bank account of Avo Cardi (Pty) Ltd as displayed on our website.
We do not store or process any information related to your credit card details. Customer details will be stored by Avo Cardi separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayGate’s secure site. For more detail on PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za.
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).

Record of Transaction

 Once an account has been created a full record of transactions will be available for the User to access
 For your convenience you are able to retrieve your statements from the invoice records on your online account profile for a time period of 6 months.

Availability of Products

 All the products shown on our website will be subject to availability.
 Should any of our products be unavailable we will inform you as soon as possible via email and or a notice will be placed on our website.
 Any refund for items already purchased shall be refunded within 30 days after notification was provided to the User.
 Alternatively, you will also have an option to purchase a substitute product.

Shipping Policy

• Avo Cardi clothing is exclusively made for you by our local South African clothing manufacturers in Cape Town by Pre-Order.
• Pre-order means we only produce what you buy. We are very focused on reducing wastage in production and in doing so we’re not only ensuring that we can keep our prices lower but we’re also doing our bit to save the planet!
• The order will take up to 10 working days to complete. We support our local SME clothing manufacturers in Cape Town and we work collaboratively to ensure we produce as fast and efficiently as possible.
• The order is usually processed within 2 working days of an order being confirmed.
• Orders placed after 3pm Friday are processed on the following Monday.
• We know you’re excited about your order and we will be updating you regularly by email.
• We are pleased to offer FREE shipping for items over R899.
• Products are delivered within the South African Region only.
• Standard shipping fare is R75.
• We currently use the services of The Courier Guy to deliver our goods.
• Standard shipping is between 2-3 working days for main centers, from the day you receive your email advising you of the shipping (weekends and public holidays are excluded).

• While we take all the proper steps to ensure that your product reaches you in a good order and within the estimated timelines indicated, we do wish to bring to your attention that we depend on third parties to deliver our goods. Thus, we cannot guarantee the delivery times.
• Kindly ensure that your shipping/delivery address is always correct when you are checking out your order, as we will not accept liability for any delays or losses resulting from non-delivery or delays. We will not be held liable for late delivery or non-delivery of items for matters that was not our fault. Should we be responsible for any late delivery, our liability is limited to a re-delivery at later time that would be negotiated with full cost of delivery to be charged to us.
 Delivery charges cannot be negotiated and can be subject to change at any time. Should delivery prices be mentioned elsewhere on the website kindly refer to the official delivery information for the final cost as the mention of these prices would be for ease of reference and estimation.
 On delivery a note will be sent to you with a summary of the items that have been delivered. A tax invoice will be sent via email which would reflect the pricing and delivery fees and the official amount received for payment. Upon receipt you or the person authorised to accept the goods on your behalf may be requested to sign a copy of the delivery note. Should any person accept a parcel on your behalf, it will be presumed that they have received authorisation to do so.
 In the event that no one was available to receive the delivery, the item will be kept until an agreed delivery date to be negotiated with the driver. We do reserve the right to include any charges for re-deliveries where required.

 We are very meticulous about the quality of our apparel and manufacturing, down to the very cotton that we use in production. To this end, we have carefully selected our manufacturers based on efficiency, quality, professionalism, experience and community support.
 We are proud to partner with manufacturers who are based in the local communities, who empowers unemployed and unskilled people in the community through skills training.

Pricing

• Purchases made on our website are transacted in South African Rand and includes Value Added Tax (VAT).
• The item prices on our websites excludes delivery charges which will displayed during the checkout process.
• Should delivery prices be mentioned elsewhere on the website kindly refer to the official delivery information for the final cost as the mention of these prices would be for ease of reference and estimation.
• Prices will be charged as displayed on the website.
• We reserve the right to amend any pricing errors that have occurred due to human error, system errors or any other reason.
• Notification of pricing adjustments will be posted on our website; we are aware that you may opt to not continue with purchase subsequent to pricing adjustments.

Colour Display

• Kindly note that it may be that the colours of the items displayed on our website may not exactly represent the colours of the items projected on your computer or mobile device, we cannot guarantee exact displays of colours on your devices.

Order Confirmation and Commencement of Sale Agreement

• An agreement of sale will commence once the User submits a completed order on our website for a specific product or service with the order subsequently being confirmed by Avo Cardi (Pty) Ltd.
• Your order will be confirmed once you have received confirmation that your order has been accepted.

Reviewing Your Order

• We provide all Users with an opportunity to review all the items purchased.
• During the review the User could correct any mistakes.
• The User will also be able to withdraw from the transaction before placing a final order.
• Kindly note that items in a basket without payment received for the item does not constitute a purchase or sale agreement.
• If for any reason the purchased was finalized without a final review, the User, will receive a refund within 14 days of receiving the items.
• The User will receive a refund upon receipt of all items by Avo Cardi (Pty) Ltd.

Returns Policy

Returns and Exchanges
• We want you to be 100% satisfied with your items.
• If you have changed your mind or not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason you may return the item for a full refund, exchange or replacement within a period of 30 days (or 7 days for items on Sale) of delivery to you subject to the conditions below.

Exchanges

• The items needs to have the original labels and stickers attached, unused and undamaged.
• Proof of purchase needs to be supplied. You may retrieve your proof of purchase from your online profile.
• Refunds do not include the price of shipping. Except for defective items subject to conditions see under Quality of Items.
• The items must not miss attached accessories.
• Items excluded for returns are swimwear, underwear, earrings, cosmetics, toiletries and customised personalised items.
• Items will be refunded as per the original payment received by the User.
• After the period of 30 days (or 7 days for items on Sale) you may only return an item within 6 months of delivery to you if the item is defective with proof of purchase and shipping. Refer to your online profile to retrieve your required invoice.
• We will collect the item from you at no charge (defective items)– Refer to Conditions of Return
• Ensure all accessories linked to the item have been included.
• Kindly ensure that the item is packaged to protect the item/packed correctly as the courier may refuse to collect an item that is not packaged correctly.

Incorrect or Damaged/ Defective Item Received

Defective Item Defined:
A garment piece is considered defective if the garment has unacceptable defects or flaws negatively impacting the quality of the garment.
We do not regard the following as defects thus no returns will be considered:
• Damage caused by negligence, wrong use of products, lack of care by User
• Defects from normal wear and tear
• Where the item clearly describes specifications that may not have suited you.
• Altered items that have been made after it has been purchased from Avo Cardi will not be eligible for return.

• We will send you an email confirming the processing of your refund or exchange.
• The exchanged item will be delivered with the courier when the return is collected.
• You will receive a full refund within 7 days of the return after we have inspected your item and validated your query.
• Items that have been changed or altered will not be accepted, unless the nature of the return is a quality issue unrelated to the change or anything that was altered.

Responsibility and Performance by Avo Cardi (Pty) Ltd

Avo Cardi takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.

Avo Cardi must execute the order within 30 days after the day on which the we received the order, unless both parties, being Avo Cardi and the User, have agreed otherwise.

Should Avo Cardi fail to execute the order within 30 days or within the agreed period, the User may cancel the agreement within 7 days per written notice.

Should we be unable to perform in terms of the agreement on the ground that the goods or services orders are unavailable, we will advise the User as soon as possible of this fact and refund any payments within 30 days after the day of such notification.

Discount Codes

Discount Codes are subject to all the Avo Cardi General Terms and Conditions and Terms and Condition of Sale, Privacy Policy and all other Avo Cardi Policies pertaining to the website usage. We suggest that you kindly read all these policies.
If you do not agree to the Avo Cardi General Terms and Conditions and Terms and Condition of Sale, Privacy Policy and all other Avo Cardi Policies pertaining to the website usage., kindly do not use this website.
The specific details of the discount code will be described in the specific promotion of the respective discount voucher.

Redeeming the Voucher:
Discount vouchers have no cash value.
You can only use the discount voucher within the time allocated on our website and on the discount voucher descriptions. The discount voucher cannot be used after expiry date.
The discount voucher is applied to the value of the order and excludes delivery cost.

Avo Cardi clothing is exclusively made for you by our local South African clothing manufacturers in Cape Town by Pre-Order.
Pre-order means we only produce what you buy. We are very focused on reducing wastage in production and in doing so we’re not only ensuring that we can keep our prices lower but we’re also doing our bit to save the planet!
The order will take up to 10 working days to complete. We support our local SME clothing manufacturers and work collaboratively to ensure that we produce as fast and efficiently as possible.
The order is usually processed within 2 working day of an order being confirmed.
Orders placed after 3pm Friday are processed on the following Monday.

Kindly ensure that your shipping/delivery address is always correct when you are checking out your order, as we will not accept liability for any delays or losses resulting from non-delivery or delays. We will not be held liable for late delivery or non-delivery of items for matters that was not our fault. Should we be responsible for any late delivery, our liability is limited to a re-delivery at later time that would be negotiated with full cost of delivery to be charged to us.
Delivery charges cannot be negotiated and can be subject to change at any time. Should delivery prices be mentioned elsewhere on the website kindly refer to the official delivery information for the final cost as the mention of these prices would be for ease of reference and estimation.
On delivery a note will be sent to you with a summary of the items that have been delivered. A tax invoice will be sent via email which would reflect the pricing and delivery fees and the official amount received for payment. Upon receipt you or the person authorised to accept the goods on your behalf may be requested to sign a copy of the delivery note. Should any person accept a parcel on your behalf, it will be presumed that they have received authorisation to do so.
In the event that no one was available to receive the delivery, the item will be kept until an agreed delivery date to be negotiated with the driver. We do reserve the right to include any charges for re-deliveries where required.
